Seamon Park House Refurbishment

Seamon Park House Refurbishment

Seamon Park House from the Mum Festival FB page copy.webpThe images in the photo slider below show recent work that the Village has been proceeding on, to convert the house that sits prominently on the Seamon Park property to a revenue-producing Bed and Breakfast.

The scraping and painting was done in the past few weeks to get the results you can see.  The work was done by local contractor Seth Labounty.

On the revenue side of the ledger for the Village are (will be) 2 popular spots:

  • The Saugerties Lighthouse, which has been named by an international newspaper (the UK Guardian) as one of the 5 best lighthouse stays in the world.
  • And soon, the Seamon Park House, once it has been fully refurbished, will serve as a B&B for visitors who can appreciate being in a well-kept park that has probably seen more than 1 million wedding photos taken, on its grounds over the years.
