Located along the Esopus Creek and within view of the Creek's entry into the historic Hudson River, Tina Chorvas Memorial Park is a great setting for a relaxing stroll, for launching a kayak*, or for the many events that are held there each year, many of them put on by Arm-of-the-Sea Theater and featuring their giant puppet shows.
Speaking of Arm-of-the-Sea Theater, in 2021, they opened the vibrant Tidewater Center, an Arts Center and Hudson River Educational Park, right next door to Tina Chorvas Park (all located at 61 East Bridge Street in Saugerties). The Center is still a work in progress. It is being renovated and renewed through the generous support of individual donors and grants.
