W. Marx Services, including a significant expansion.  The work included a 3-story, 8,000 square feet addition to the south facade, a 2-story, 1,100 square foot addition to the east facade and the addition of a geothermal heating/cooling system.  The project to refurbish and expand the building was recognized by New York Library Association (NYLA) as 2011 Project of the Year.  (Photo above is from U. W. Marx Services.)

The library provides a great deal of literature and participates in the Mid-Hudson Library System's digital download program.  Visitors to the library include library-card holders checking for their next book, of course, but there are many innovative activities that make the library the fun and stimulating asset it has become.  Just a few examples include a visual art gallery, the hosting of many music, dance and craft programs and weekly Storytime sessions, various clubs and exercise sessions.  The Library's online calendar shows how the team at the library take the ongoing learning process for visitors of every age very seriously .
