Duties: The purpose of the Historic Review Board is to oversee all the properties in 2 historic districts and to address the protection, enhancement, and preservation of buildings of historic, architectural, and cultural value, in order to promote the economic, cultural, educational and general welfare of the public.

Schedule: Meetings are the 4th Wednesday of each month (7:00 p.m.).

There is a Saugerties Historical Society that researches, collects, preserves, and disseminates Saugerties historical information, and coordinates all things historical in Saugerties.
