Art Lab offers classes and programs in a variety of subjects with an emphasis on hands-on learning techniques and creative expression. This is the site of Clearwater, the environmental advocacy and educational organization that maintains and sails the Sloop Clearwater.

Diaz Memorial Ambulance Service

Diaz Memorial Ambulance Service, Inc. is the primary Emergency Medical Services provider for the Town and Village of Saugerties, Glenerie, Glasco, Mt. Marion, High Woods, Blue Mountain, Centerville, Malden-West Camp, and Saxton-Asbury-Katsbaan.  They also cover a portion of the New York State Thruway.

Esopus Creek Conservancy
A beautiful Web site, for a beautiful organization that is among the newest land trusts in the State of New York. Working with the Catskill Center for Conservation and Development and enjoying remarkable private and public support, they have acquired a 156-acre natural property that shares a mile of shoreline with the upper Esopus Creek in Saugerties. Its name - Esopus Bend Nature Preserve.
Horse Shows in the Sun (HITS)
Summertime horse shows in a beautiful Hudson Valley venue in Saugerties.  HITS is a great place to visit, whether you want to casually watch the beauty of horses being put through their paces, or you want to take in the excitement that goes along with a $50,000 Grand Prix event.  World class competition and equestrian beauty, right off Washington Avenue in Saugerties.
Hudson Valley Garlic Festival™

Official Hudson Valley Garlic Festival™ Site.  In 2006, this festival will be in its 18th year.  Runs every year, the last full weekend in September.

John Street Jam

The John St Jam is located in the Dutch Arms Chapel at 16 John St., Saugerties, near the Main St. Stewart's. It is a monthly musical celebration, typically held the 2nd (and if there is one, the 5th) Saturday of each month.

Kiwanis Ice Arena Website
This is the official Web site for the Town of Saugerties Kiwanis Ice Arena, located in the Cantine Memorial Complex and accessable from Washington Avenue.
No Saugerties Casino

A Web site expressing opposition to the building of a casino on Winston Farm in Saugerties, based on the overwhelming belief that a casino in Saugerties would negatively impact the quality of life in our Village, Town and the surrounding areas.

Saugerties Farmers Market

The Saugerties Farmers Markets run Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. from Memorial Day weekend to the end of October.

 

Its location is in the parking lot next to the Kiersted House (115 Main Street), across the street from Cahill School.

 

The market goes indoors to the Senior Center (207 Market Street) to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas/Hanukkah.

Established in 1884, this is one of the oldest sportsmen's clubs in NY State.
Saugerties Historical Society (Kiersted House)
The Saugerties Historical Society is a source of local Saugerties information, art, and memorabilia.
Saugerties Lighthouse
A great place to hike to (15 minutes from a parking area on Lighthouse Drive), enjoy a picnic and (if you can get reservations), stay overnight at the bed & breakfast.
