The Seamon Park Board's mission includes overseeing the existing Trust Fund and all monetary donations made to the Board by numerous community organizations. Funds are allocated to continually maintain the Park, making necessary improvements where needed, keep abreast of all innovative ideas without altering the Park's natural, aesthetic beauty. The Park Board's goal is that of John Seamon, when he deeded the Park to the Village — "a park, a breathing place, open and free at all times to every person".
